Veterinarian specializing in equine reproduction.D.José Antón López, a veterinarian specializing in equine reproduction with over 30 years of experience in this sector, founded the Pepe Antón Equine Reproduction Center in 2006 to meet the increasingly specialized demand in this field. To this end, he employs a professional team, a laboratory equipped with the latest technology, and a wide selection of stallions, always striving for the well-being of the animal, without which achieving results would be impossible.
The center features a breeding room with a mannequin, a mare examination room, spacious stalls, a horse walker, and a training arena for their exercise. There are individual mare stalls with a corral and paddocks for groups of mares. There is also a farrowing pen with surveillance cameras.
Services
Insemination
EU-approved center for semen collection and artificial insemination, including fresh, chilled, and frozen semen. Semen evaluation is performed using CASA-assisted analysis.
Stallions
The Pepe Antón Semen Separation Centre (CRE) is EU-approved for the storage and distribution of equine semen, which allows it to import or export semen from any stallion, both nationally and internationally.
embryo transfer
Carried out in a sterile environment achieved thanks to the laminar flow available at the center.
Approved by the EU for its implementation. Different programs are offered, tailored to each individual case.
